I cannot believe it's almost time to say goodbye to 2017 and say hello to 2018! 

Despite the conflicts in the world we've seen this past year, the sun continues to rise in the morning. As should we.

Accept and welcome all lessons this year had to offer and prepare for the ones the new year will present you with. In difficult times, remember to chose and walk in love. Choosing to focus on love and seeing the beauty in the world around us will increase positivity and attract good things. Remember to set your intentions for this new year. Count your blessings, express gratitude. Carry a smile.

School Boy

I recently bought these boots and I have been wearing them nonstop! They are so comfortable and most importantly, so chic! Haha! I had been contemplating this outfit for quite a while now but the weather has made it a bit impossible, but Monday was the perfect day! My friend decided she wanted to show me around her old neighborhood where she grew up. She took me to a park she used to visit when she was young and I absolutely loved it! We sat in the park, caught up on a lot of things, reminisced on the old days and then we ate burgers at an AMAZING diner! So yea, my Monday was awesome!

DIY Suit

Hello my loves! Yesterday was my friend Jhoselinn's Quinceañera, in English, her sweet 15. I really wanted to wear a printed suit, so I went to my local fabric store, bought some fabric and got to work! So yes, this was a DIY outfit, and in my opinion; it turned out pretty well for my first major DIY project! For the celebration I decided to change my shoes and remove my necklace and add a tie, just because I thought it would be more appropriate for the occasion. Well anyway, I had lots of fun! CHS 2012'

Hey my dears! I know it has been a while since I last posted! I apologize for that! I have been so busy with school, work, and trying to keep all of my friends, hahaha! Today I hung out with my Best-est Friend in the whole wide world, Aisha! She had never been to the High Line and I thought today was the perfect day to go! Well anyway, on my outfit: my friend graduated from high school a few years ago and no longer wanted her school cardigan so she asked me if I wanted it. Of course I said yes! How could I not? As strange as it sounds, I love school uniforms, especially school cardigans/sweaters. Something about them is just really cute and stuff, ya know? Childhood nostalgia... 
By the way, I did have a coat on! :p

It's 2014!

Happy 2014 everyone! I hope that this new year brings you peace, love and many good things. For this new year I really want to work on my fashion, school, and most importantly myself. I want to continue to be a person who lives in faith. Here is a prayer:

O LORD, thank you for a New Year and a fresh start. Please give me wisdom and strength to serve you with integrity and faithfulness in this coming year. I pray that your work be done in my life as I offer myself, my plans, and my future to you. I pray this through Jesus my intercessor and Lord. Amen.
